Hello, my lovely artists. How are you all doing? Monsoon has arrived here in India. And it is making my plants so happy! Nothing like a peaceful monsoon morning with drops of water on the flowers from all the drizzling.
Today we are painting the leaves of the Golden Shrimp plant in Part 2.
ABOUT THE LEAVES
If you observe closely, you will find that the leaves are quite thick in nature. They are textured and veins are visible all over. Make sure to save the white paper wherever you see these veins. We will tackle them in the end with a pale wash of yellow.
Because of solid sunlight falling on the plant, we have both warm and cool greens on the leaves. So, we need to prepare two different mixes.
THE COMPOSITION
Since the leaves are so interesting I made a few composition changes to add them closer to the frame.
